RYA approached me & alan to produce an emergency action booklet, which will be used by British Sailing Team instructors. The booklet was designed as a ‘reminder’ of the safety guidelines for sailors during an emergency situation.

The booklet had to be created in a way that the information needed was easy to find in an intense situation. With this in mind we used colour coded sections to break up the content.

The book is to be used on boats, so needed to be durable and waterproof. To achieve this we found a printer that uses Synaps Synthetic Paper, which is not only waterproof but tear-proof too. Prints with a lovely matt finish and you can actually write on it (waterproof sharpie recommended). We added an acetate cover to for extra durability.
